S’mores Frappuccino Recipe (Starbuck’s Copycat)

Everyone wants to know how to make Starbucks drinks at home, so we are recreating Starbuck’s S’mores frappuccino right in the comfort of our own kitchen!

This recipe is easy and takes less than 10 ingredients. Go ahead and impress your partner, your parents, your friends, or YOURSELF with this delicious drink. Lets get into it!

Ingredients & Equipment

Start by gathering all the needed equipment and ingredients for this smores frap, starbucks’ style. You will need:

Another plus is that this recipe requires minimal equipment too! You need:

Marshmallow Whipped Cream

Start by making the whipped cream for the s’mores frapuccino. This will consist of the heavy cream and toasted marshmallow syrup. Pour the syrup into the heavy cream.

Use a whisk or a hand mixer to whip these ingredients together until creamy and hold a medium stiff peak. Set aside for late when assembling the frappuccino.

This marshmallow whipped cream can be replaced with another marshmallow alternative such as melted marshmallow fluff. Whatever ingredients are of easiest access is what I recommend!

Making the Frap

Here comes the exciting part! take your ice and pour it into a blender. I love Nutribullet’s Blender because its compact and easy to use, but still packs a lot of power in the little thing.

So after the ice, add in the milk, espresso, milk chocolate sauce and vanilla syrup. Make sure to have some extra milk chocolate sauce for later when serving the drink.

Blend this whole mixture together to create the base of this s’mores frap, starbucks style. Make sure everything is smooth and no ice chunks are left in the blender. You might wonder what the big difference between a milkshake and a frappuccino is…

What is the difference between a Frappuccino & Milkshake?

So, what are the biggest differences between a frappuccino and a milkshake? The main disinction is that a frappuccino is a coffee drink, while a milkshake is a dessert. Frappuccinos are made with espresso, while milkshakes are made with ice cream. Also, frappuccinos are mostly served at coffee shops, while you will typically find milkshakes  at restaurants or fast food chains.

The other noticeable difference is the texture. Frappuccinos are typically blended to create a smooth, creamy texture, while milkshakes are thicker and more ice-cream-like in texture. This is because milkshakes use ice cream as the base, which is thicker and creamier than milk. As you can see in my recipe I use ice as the base for the s’mores frappuccino.

In terms of nutritional value, frappuccinos and milkshakes are both high in sugar and calories, as they contain a lot of sugar and dairy. However, frappuccinos tend to be slightly lower in calories than milkshakes, as they are made with espresso rather than ice cream.

Assembling the S'mores Frappuccino

This is always my favorite part of making any kind of sweet drink. Check out my berry galaxy mocktail for another aesthetic drink recipe.

To assemble the s’mores frappuccino take a nice tall glass and first use the milk chocolate syrup to create a nice design around the inside of the cup. Crush some of the graham crackers at the bottom. Then go in with a large tablespoon full of the marshmallow whipped cream. Next fill the glass about 1/4 of the way with the frappuccino base.

Repeat this process until you reach the top of the glass. This ensure you got the graham crackers, marshmallow and chocolatey flavors with every sip! Finish the s’more frappuccino, starbucks style, with more marshmallow whipped cream, crushed graham crackers and milk chocolate syrup. You have finished your frappuccino!

Wow. Look at how delicious this S’more frappuccino looks! Go ahead and grab a straw and test it out. I quite literally slurped it down in less than 10 minutes after I finished making it. And that is everything you need to know to make a s’mores frappuccino, starbuck’s style. It doesn’t take very long and will having you feel like you never need to purchase from the actual coffee shop again!
