Mango Strawberry Slush

Hot weather means we need something to cool us down. Two of my favorite fruits mixed together into a frozen slush is exactly what I need with me poolside.

If you love mangoes and strawberries, this is the perfect quick and easy drink recipe for you. With only 4 ingredients needed you can make a mango strawberry slush for you and your friends.

Equipment & Ingredients

To make this mango strawberry slush you will need these ingredients: 

  • Mangoes
  • Strawberries
  • Ice
  • Simple Syrup
  • Water

As for the equipment, this is all you will need:

  • Blender
  • Serving Glasses

I love making recipes like this because this kind of tropical drink makes you feel like your on vacation. When you are sitting and enjoying this drink you transport yourself to another world.

Mango Strawberry Slushie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced

  • 3 mangoes, sliced

  • 4 cups ice, divided

  • 1 cup water, divide

  • 2/3 cup simple syrup, divided

Directions

  • In a blender, add the sliced mangoes, 1/2 cup of the water, 2 cups of the ice and 1/3 cup of the simple syrup. Blend together until combined and a mango slush forms. Pour into a bowl or separate container and place in the freezer.
  • Rinse out the blender and repeat with the sliced strawberries. Adding the rest of the ice, water and simple syrup. Blend again and smooth and slush.
  • Remove from the mango slush from the freezer. Take your serving glasses and alternately pour the mango and strawberry slush into the glass, creating a mix of the two.
  • Fill all glasses, serve and enjoy!
