S’mores Treats

Summer is around the corner and who doesn’t love s’mores?! These s’mores treats are filled with marshmallows, Hershey’s chocolate bars, and graham cracker flavor, deepening the flavor with a browned butter base.

Once you make homemade s’mores treats you literally will never want to go back to any type of store bought rice Krispy treats. This is the perfect easy treat when you can’t get in from of a bonfire, but you still want the sweet taste of s’mores.

Equipment & Ingredients

To make these s’mores treats you will need these ingredients:

  • Mini Marshmallows
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Honey Graham Cereal
  • Butter
  • Hershey’s Chocolate Bars

As for the equipment, the list is much shorter! You will just need:

  • Large Pot
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Baking Dish

And just like that, your s’mores treats are complete! This recipe only takes about 20 minutes and an hour to cool just enough to enjoy these gooey treats.

A gooey s'mores treat with golden graham cereal, melted marshmallow goodness and chynks of Hershey's chocolate bars.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups honey graham cereal

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk

  • 20 ounces marshmallows, divided

  • 20 mini Hershey's chocolate bars

Directions

  • In a large saucepan, add the butter and melt until browned.
  • Add in 10 ounces of the marshmallows and stir into the butter over the heat until melted.
  • Once the marshmallows have melted, add in the sweetened condensed milk, and stir together until combined.
  • Remove from the heat and add the honey graham cereal. Fold the cereal into the marshmallow mixture until it is all coated.
  • Add in 5 more ounces of the mini marshmallows and 10 of the Hershey's chocolate bars broken apart. Fold the marshmallows and chocolate into the treats until evenly distributed.
  • Take a baking dish and coat everything with cold butter. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Top with the rest of the mini marshmallows and broken apart chocolate bars.
  • Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes until the s'mores bars are set.
  • Remove from the fridge, cut, and enjoy!
