I know I’m not the only one with an ongoing acne battle that lasted way past my teen hormone years. Going through dermatologists and loads of expensive acne skin care, I never really found what works for my skin. While acne highly depends on your inner health, the outer daily facial care is still super necessary too.
As someone with sensitive skin, I have broken out from multiple store bought products that contain many chemicals that I often can’t pronounce. This soap acne bar is homemade with natural ingredients that target acne and hyperpigmentation in a simple to make moisturizing bar.
With only 4 ingredients, this peppermint soap acne bar will revitalize your skin daily and work on reducing breakouts while healing scarring all at the same time. And the bonus is you do this without stripping your skin of all its moisture and inviting the refreshing scent of mint in your daily skincare routine. Let’s get into this recipe…
Equipment & Ingredients
To make this peppermint acne soap bar you will need these ingredients:
- Goat Milk Soap Base
- Tea Tree Oil
- Mint Leaves
- Peppermint Essential Oil
- Frankincense Essential Oil
As for the equipment, this is all you will need:
- Double Boiler
- Mixing Bowls
- Silicone Soap Mold
- Crinkle Cutter
Find your favorite silicone soap mold. I find silicone to be the easiest to pop the hardened block out once completely set and you can create your own fancy designs. This peppermint soap acne bar is both pretty, elegant and foolproof.
Even better than using this peppermint soap acne bars for your own skin is to wrap these up and share them with friends and family as gifts. They are a beautiful and heartfelt homemade gift that anyone who receives them will love.
Let me know if you created your own favorite scent for this soap acne bar and how this came out for you in the comments. 🙂
